24. January 2020DP World from Dubai and Swissterminal Holding AG based in Frenkendorf near Basel, Switzerland, have formed a strategic partnership. Effective January 23, 2020, DP World will acquire 44% of the shares in Swissterminal Holding AG. The Mayer family, the founders of the company, will remain the main shareholders.
(Frenkendorf, January 21, 2020) Swissterminal and DP World expect a significant competitive advantage and the expansion of both companies’ leadership positions through their partnership. The partners anticipate that the cooperation will lead to a larger terminal network, increased efficiency, and an expanded service portfolio.
