Rhenus acquires Spanish logistics provider LTK

As of January 27, the Rhenus Group has acquired the Spanish company LTK. The integrated supply chain specialist has its headquarters in Madrid and warehouse capacities at three other locations in Spain. The focus of the activities is on logistics solutions for the aerospace and automotive industries.

(Holzwickede, 06.02.2020) Founded in 2002, LTK is now represented in the Spanish capital, in the Basque region of Álava, and at the Andalusian locations of Seville and Cádiz. A total of over 26,000 square meters of warehouse capacity is available there. Customers include the Airbus Group and Alestis Aerospace. In addition to storage, LTK offers supply chain management, procurement, returns and spare parts logistics, quality inspections, as well as industrial handling and aircraft ground handling. The logistics service provider conducts more than 110,000 technical inspections for its customers each year. Since 2004, LTK has been supplying Airbus’s production facilities in Cádiz and Seville. The logistics warehouses record more than 1 million inbound and outbound movements of goods per year.”The warehouse locations of LTK will form the basis for the further expansion of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions in Spain.
