16. April 2020The Logifant Has the Ultimate Solution for the Last Mile
17. April 2020This year’s Logistics Day of the BVL, Federal Association of Logistics, took place in a special format due to Corona, namely exclusively online. From the many events across Europe, here is the daily report of the F.W. Neukirch forwarding company from Bremen in the original text.

(Bremen) Logistics virtually, fantastic & lively – this year’s Logistics Day (TdL) was a completely new challenge. It was clear to all of us very early on that there would be no “normal” day with on-site presentations and warehouse tours. The Corona pandemic put a spanner in the works for us and all other TdL participants. But the FWN trainees did not let this discourage them and quickly moved Logistics Day at FWN to social networks. The presentations by each individual were very well received. Our goal of inspiring young people for a career in logistics – of course at FWN – has been fully achieved. The many positive reactions online show that it has also reached many other logistics enthusiasts.
The BVL (Federal Association of Logistics e.V.) as the initiator of the day had shown various ways to use the day for the image building of the economic sector. Thanks to the various formats of virtual events, webinars, tours, fairs, conferences, videos, watch parties, which were often put together at short notice, everyone was able to interest and inspire many people for logistics. All participants reached a total of about 800,000 people online!

The online day was different, but exciting. The event was firmly in the hands of the trainees. Everything worked perfectly – from A to Z. Thanks also to everyone else who supported the day. The aspiring logistics professionals gave their all again this year. A compliment at this point should motivate to become active again next year.
For this commitment, the management thanks everyone who worked organizationally and technically behind the scenes, ensuring that Logistics Day 2020 was a successful event.
The bar for Logistics Day 2021 is set a little higher again – stay tuned for the coming year! And hopefully, there will be logistics again that you can touch closely.
Stay curious about logistics. And above all – stay healthy.
