(Basel/Kloten) The Schneider Group, a subsidiary of Invision and a leading Swiss freight forwarding service provider, is expanding through the acquisition of the logistics company NOVA TRAFFIC with locations in Kloten and Embrach. As part of the early succession planning of NOVA TRAFFIC, the joint decision of the two corporate groups to unite has emerged – especially since the two companies complement each other optimally in their product portfolios. Invision supported the Schneider Group in this transaction.
Employees, customers, and partners of NOVA TRAFFIC will equally benefit from the additional opportunities offered by the internationally oriented Schneider Group. The Schneider Group also enhances its service offerings with this merger and the specialized service offerings of NOVA TRAFFIC.
The Schneider Group acquires 100% of the shares of NOVA TRAFFIC from the managing director and owner Daniel Stein. In return, Daniel Stein will participate in the Schneider Group and join the management of the Schneider Group. He will also continue to lead NOVA TRAFFIC as before.
André Strebel, CEO, commented: “I look forward to working with Nova Traffic and Daniel Stein. The company is the perfect complement to the Schneider Group. I am confident that we will benefit from each other and embark on a successful path together.”
Daniel Stein adds: “We speak the same language and share the same values. Our employees are important to us. Our customers and partners worldwide are equally important. Everyone will benefit from this joint path. Personally, I am glad that I was able to find a sustainable future plan for my employees and company with the Schneider Group. I also look forward to the new tasks and the collaboration in the management of the Schneider Group.”
