Felix Transport Takes Over Bieli Transport’s Fleet of Tarpaulin Trucks

Felix Transport AG takes over the fleet of tarpaulin trucks from Bieli Transport AG, along with employees and customers from this sector. The two companies from Laufental near Basel have been business partners for a long time.

(Zwingen/Laufen) Felix Transport AG is taking over the fleet of tarpaulin trucks from Bieli Transport AG in Laufen as of June 29, 2020. Customer relationships and employees are part of the acquisition. This strengthens the family-owned company’s regional presence and specialization in the field of general cargo transport.

Bieli Transport AG is parting with the tarpaulin truck fleet for strategic reasons. The choice for the sale fell on Felix Transport AG, a long-standing business partner with regional roots and a strong commitment to quality. The acquisition also includes existing customer relationships in the general cargo sector as well as ten vehicles with a new stationing in Zwingen. The preservation of all jobs was a major concern for both companies, which is why the affected employees at the locations in Zwingen and Arlesheim will continue to be employed. Felix Transport AG looks forward to integrating the new employees and continuing the existing customer relationships at a high level of quality.
