2. July 2020DB Schenker is strengthening the management in the Ocean Freight sector within the Germany/Switzerland cluster starting July 1, 2020. Hans Thorsten Lanfermann will be the Head of Ocean Export and Michael Schwickert will take over as Head of Ocean Import.
(Frankfurt am Main) DB Schenker is enhancing the management for the DE/CH cluster with two new positions in the Ocean Freight sector.
Effective July 1, 2020, Hans-Thorsten Lanfermann will be the Head of Ocean Export for the DE/CH cluster. Hans-Thorsten Lanfermann has been with DB Schenker for nearly 20 years and most recently served as Head of Ocean Freight North at Schenker Deutschland AG.
Michael Schwickert will be the Head of Ocean Import for the DE/CH cluster. Michael Schwickert was the Ocean Freight Manager at the DB Schenker offices in Koblenz and Cologne from 1998, before taking on the position of Head of Trade Export FCL in the DE/CH cluster in 2018.
The two positions will be responsible for the Ocean Freight operations for the entire DE/CH cluster.
