2. July 2020Kukla Freight Forwarding has received the status of authorized shipper and consignee with immediate effect. The relevant application was approved by the Main Customs Office in Munich. This allows Kukla to offer its customers comprehensive customs management for import and export and to enhance its service and transport services for international land transport and sea freight.
(Munich) Customs clearance services have always been part of the portfolio of the traditional Munich company. With the status of authorized shipper and consignee, Kukla can further simplify and accelerate processes for its customers.
An authorized shipper is allowed to carry out exports without presenting the shipping declaration and the goods to the departure customs office. Instead, an electronic transmission of the relevant data is sufficient. In addition, the authorized shipper is allowed to issue shipping declarations and seal the means of transport or packages. The subsequent transport of the goods can also take place without the involvement of the customs office.
As an authorized consignee, Kukla is allowed to carry out imports and receive the goods directly without having to present them to the customs office. To complete the customs procedure, only the shipping declaration needs to be sent to the destination customs office. Robert Kukla GmbH International Freight Forwarding specializes in multimodal and intermodal transport, tank transport, and truck transport worldwide and has extensive experience in warehousing logistics.
The Munich logistics service provider has branches in Hamburg, Berlin, Milan, Breda, Stockholm, Tunis, Bilbao, and London. Kukla has been in existence since 1941, works worldwide with a dense network of powerful cooperation partners, and employs around 150 staff at all locations.
