The 63-year-old started at Greiwing in 1990 right after the reunification and has since covered several thousand kilometers for the logistics service provider.
(Greven) Calculating the distance that Bernd Schiemenz has covered as a professional driver for Greiwing logistics for you GmbH on Europe’s roads would take a lot of time. The now 63-year-old has reliably steered the trucks of the logistics service provider from Greven to their destinations since 1990. Thus, Schiemenz has been making an important contribution to the development of the company for 30 years now. In recognition of this achievement, the management of the family-owned company honored the jubilarian with a gift and a certificate.

International Trips at the Beginning
Schiemenz started with the logistics specialist headquartered in Greven in the first year after reunification. He was 33 years old at that time. From the location in Staßfurt or his residence in the Spree-Neiße district in southern Lower Lusatia, he was initially deployed on international routes. On his trips to the Benelux countries as well as to France and Austria, Schiemenz demonstrated that he not only fulfills his tasks flawlessly but also always pays special attention to the equipment and workflows. “Our goal is to provide our customers with top-notch quality. For this, we rely on the observations of our drivers, who often see best where the issues are and where a process can be improved,” says Greiwing. The 63-year-old was also open to the technological changes that have taken place in recent years, which have also entered the driver cabins. Additionally, he reliably and skillfully took on the role of a link between the loading and unloading points on one side and the dispatch on the other.
For his long-standing loyalty and ongoing readiness to serve, Greiwing logistics for you GmbH honored the 63-year-old jubilarian during a small celebration with a gift basket and a certificate.
