Jul 23, 2020 at 7:03 AMEuba Logistic from Angermünde is now advertising with a truck for Ucker-Ei. For two years, Uckermark brand partners have been advertising on the tarpaulins of the logistics company. Meanwhile, 19 partners are promoting the regional brand UCKERMARK on 27 trailers, ensuring that the brands are seen far beyond the borders of Brandenburg.
(PressBox: Zollchow/Angermünde) For 2 years, Uckermark brand partners have been able to carry their advertising message far beyond the borders of Brandenburg and Germany with the help of the Angermünde logistics company Euba Logistic. “The idea of Euba-Logistic to run large-scale advertisements in collaboration with the regional brand UCKERMARK has proven to be very successful,” explains Ronald Garkisch, managing partner of Euba.
An Egg Goes on a Journey
Nineteen brand partners have already taken advantage of this on 27 trailers, some even multiple times. Currently, Ucker-Ei is prominently featured on the trucks. Many people are traveling on the highways of the republic these days, heading for their well-deserved vacation. Ucker-Ei is also embarking on distant journeys. The two trucks started fully loaded towards Berlin, with advertising for both companies on the back. “This is about the collaboration of regional companies with each other,” emphasizes Hanka Mittelstädt, managing director of Ucker-Ei GmbH. “This does not necessarily mean that more Ucker-Ei products are marketed; rather, we want to show impact with the Uckermark region, with the regional companies, and with the solidarity among each other in Germany.” Ucker-Ei GmbH houses 39,990 laying hens in free-range conditions and markets half of the produced eggs directly. “The demand for regional products will continue to rise. The transparency of modern and animal-friendly husbandry is the philosophy of our trade. Short transport routes, social security for the workforce, and commitment to the region will become increasingly important in the future,” says Hanka Mittelstädt.
11,000 Advertising Kilometers per Trailer per Month
“With each new truck we put into service, there is the opportunity to equip it with advertising. This truck then travels for up to five years through Germany and Europe. A truck covers a distance of about 11,000 kilometers monthly,” explains Ronald Garkisch. Increasing advertising for Uckermark was also the motivation that led Ronald Garkisch to start this advertising initiative. “In my opinion, companies in Uckermark do not communicate enough with each other. I believe we in Uckermark have a lot of good things to showcase. And especially outwardly, the positive aspects of the region should be communicated more strongly. Our contribution to this can now be seen on the backs of some of our trucks. I hope there will be more.” “I am pleased that this initiative strengthens the marketing of the entire region and thus the companies of Uckermark. Especially during the Corona pandemic, it became clear how important it is to have strong companies in the region to supply the population, whether with food, disinfectants, or health, craft, and tourism services,” adds Silvio Moritz, managing director of ICU and manager of the regional brand UCKERMARK.
