(Ismaning/Berlin) The Logistics Hall of Fame and the Logistics Alliance Germany (LAG) want to make a joint statement about the performance and innovative strength of logistics. For this reason, the international Hall of Fame of logistics and the LAG have agreed on a partnership. From now on, the Logistics Alliance Germany is a member of the large supporter circle of the Logistics Hall of Fame. At the same time, the Logistics Hall of Fame will now be among the supporters of the work of the Logistics Alliance Germany.
Both partners want to use their extensive network and the international reputation of the Logistics Hall of Fame to present the capabilities of the logistics location Germany worldwide, contribute to the competitiveness of the entire logistics industry, and further improve the image of logistics.
“Logistics made in Germany”
The Logistics Alliance Germany is a public-private partnership project (ÖPP) of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) and the German logistics industry, which aims to market the logistics location Germany under the motto “Logistics made in Germany” in non-European countries. The Logistics Hall of Fame documents outstanding achievements in logistics, honors its creators, and initiates innovations.
For the year 2020, the finalists for induction into the Hall of Fame of Logistics 2020 have already been determined. The Logistics Hall of Fame Council has recently nominated ten personalities for induction into the Hall of Fame and four candidates for the award as “TRATON Logistics Leader of the Year.” Previously, 22 valid proposals from Germany, Europe, and around the world had been submitted. The candidate lists for both honors are traditionally kept secret and are not published in advance.
Supporters of the Logistics Hall of Fame are a circle of people, companies, and institutions committed to documenting top performances in logistics.
