8. September 2020Dr. Malek Software GmbH presents the M3 Carrier Portal at the virtual Nfz-Messe.com. M3 integrates subcontractors into its own fleet. Order data is sent to subcontractors via a web link. M3 includes a document upload feature for shippers, drivers, and subcontractors.
(Dresden) Dr. Malek Software GmbH is participating in the first virtual commercial vehicle trade fair Nfz-Messe.com and will showcase the M3 Carrier Portal there from September 24 to October 8. It was developed for logistics service providers, shippers, and logistics networks that need to exchange their process data reliably and quickly with their logistics partners while working with different IT systems. The portal is complemented by online services such as the order capture M3 Weborder, the tracking system M3 Webtracing, or the M3 inventory information.
Virtual fair aligns well with corporate values
Dr. Malek Software GmbH is utilizing the innovative environment of the virtual commercial vehicle fair as one of the first IT providers. “The digital format of the Nfz-Messe is not only efficient but also environmentally friendly, which aligns well with our corporate values,” explains managing partner Ralf Malek. Visitors to the fair, initiated by the Munich Huss publishing house, can inform themselves about new products in the commercial vehicle and supplier industry as part of a digital event program. The new format was developed because, due to the Corona pandemic, almost all trade fairs, exhibitions, and other events in the commercial vehicle sector were canceled or postponed for a long time.
The M3 Carrier Portal serves as a central data interface in the corporate design of the freight forwarder, compatible with any transport management or ERP system or any forwarding software. With the new features, external partners such as clients and subcontractors, as well as the company’s own drivers, are better integrated into the process chain. For example, order data can now be easily forwarded to subcontractors as a web link.
Link delivery notes with order data
In addition to capturing and tracking shipments or providing labels, clients can now also upload delivery notes to the platform, which are automatically linked with the corresponding order data. The same applies to the delivery receipts, which can now be uploaded by the company’s own drivers or subcontractors, significantly speeding up the billing process. Another innovation concerns the integration of data from the M3 Carrier Portal into the respective merchandise management system of the clients. Through a data link, shippers can retrieve the information relevant to them regarding the logistics process without having to log in to the platform.
Carrier portal completes software portfolio
The M3 Carrier Portal completes the extensive software portfolio of Dr. Malek. The now approximately 30 modules of the software family “M3 Logisticware” provide comprehensive solutions along the entire supply chain from shipper to recipient. The family-owned company, now in its second generation, offers transport management, forwarding, warehouse management, and telematics solutions for road freight transport from a single source. In-house mapping software for dispatching and extensive online offerings such as WebOrder, WebTracing, or WebBooking for ramp management round out the company’s expertise. Clients include transport companies, groupage forwarders, and shippers who have partially integrated M3 Logisticware completely into SAP. This is made possible by the modular software architecture and the individual customization of M3 Logisticware for each client.
