23. September 2020The Austrian logistics service provider Gebrüder Weiss launches its new customer portal named ‘myGW’. It is now available to customers in several European countries. With myGW, Gebrüder Weiss covers the services of all business areas.
(Lauterach) The new digital customer portal from Gebrüder Weiss is called myGW. It is now available to all customers of the company in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia. With myGW, Gebrüder Weiss covers the services of all business areas and aims to provide its customers with easy and anytime access to the company. Thus, complete communication with the logistics service provider can now also be handled online. The portal has already been successfully in use with pilot customers since spring 2020. Expansion to additional countries is planned.
Digital Platform
“With myGW, we have created a digital platform that provides our customers with real-time information about their goods flows. And this is cross-departmental for land transport, air and sea freight, as well as warehousing logistics. This creates maximum transparency and facilitates the flow of information throughout the entire supply chain,” says Wolfram Senger-Weiss, Chairman of the Executive Board of Gebrüder Weiss. “With myGW, our customers are also always able to provide information to their own customers regarding the exact status quo of their shipments. This is a significant advantage.”
Great emphasis was also placed on user-friendliness during the development phase, and therefore close collaboration with customers was maintained. “With the support of our pilot customers, we have managed to tailor the new portal even more closely to the needs of the users. After the pilot phase, the portal can now be used immediately by all users without restrictions,” adds Wolfgang Brunner, the project manager of the myGW customer portal. “The handling of myGW is self-explanatory. Feedback shows that the portal scores points for comfort and clarity. The resulting time savings provide additional value.”
