28. September 2020Change of Management at BTK Freight and Transport Office GmbH. Bernhard Reichert hands over the reins of BTK to Josef Heiß on his 60th birthday. He will now manage the company together with Franz Weiß.
(Rosenheim) Bernhard Reichert (60) has transferred his shareholder shares to Josef Heiß as of September 1, 2020. The 44-year-old will now be responsible for BTK Freight and Transport Office GmbH in a dual leadership role with Franz Weiß (58).
The shareholders each hold 50 percent of the shares and share the management responsibilities. In addition to his previous areas of freight forwarding, sales, and IT, Josef Heiß will take on responsibility for contract logistics, fleet management, as well as quality management and insurance. Franz Weiß will continue to oversee finance and human resources. In the expanded management team, long-standing authorized signatories Franz Neuner (37) as Head of Transport Logistics and Peter Berger (38) as Head of Contract Logistics will support the operational leadership of the company.
Exit on the 60th Birthday
Bernhard Reichert has stepped down as a shareholder exactly on his 60th birthday. To ensure a smooth transition, he will remain in management until the end of 2020. Most recently, he expanded the logistics center in Raubling to two halls. His operational responsibilities in fleet management and the succession as traffic manager will be taken over by Albert Kraus (55). He is the Head of Fleet Management, Quality Management, and Insurance. In contract logistics, Peter Berger has taken overall responsibility with an enhanced team leader level.

The owner-managed BTK Freight and Transport Office GmbH is a logistics company headquartered in Rosenheim, Bavaria, with a branch in Heilbad Heiligenstadt (Thuringia). 300 employees realize national and international transports for customers from industry and trade, as well as a wide range of handling, storage, and value-added services. The company owns a fleet of 158 tractors with 200 trailers and a logistics center of 10,000 m² in Raubling. Additionally, there are another 9,000 m² of rented logistics space in the Rosenheim area. BTK is a member of the European Cargo Alliance of international freight forwarders (ELVIS AG) and the Europe-wide groupage network International Logistics Network (ILN).
