Oct 9, 2020 at 6:01 PMLogivest GmbH has brokered a logistics space of 35,000 m2 to the furnishing service provider Poco in Bönen. The landlord is the company Logicor. The logistics spaces are located in close proximity to Poco’s headquarters in Bergkamen.
(Cologne/Bönen) In close proximity to the headquarters in Bergkamen, the German furnishing discounter Poco has rented a logistics space of approximately 35,000 sqm. The landlord of the property is Logicor, one of the largest owners and managers of modern logistics and distribution properties in Europe. Logivest provided advisory services during the site search and brokerage.
To expand its e-commerce business, Poco needs additional storage options in the long term. The new property offers space for around 35,000 sqm of warehouse space as well as additional office units of approximately 1,500 sqm.
Kamen region as a sought-after logistics location
“We are very pleased that we found the ideal property for Poco in close proximity to their headquarters. The region around Kamen is highly sought after. Just recently, TEDi rented a logistics area of around 85,000 sqm in the logistics park in Kamen,” said Thomas Schmidt, Managing Director of Logivest NRW.
The property in Bönen is located about ten minutes by car from the Poco headquarters, is directly connected to the A2 motorway, and is in close proximity to the Kamen motorway interchange, which connects the federal motorways A1 and A2.
In the coming months, the site will be completely revitalized. The existing halls will be demolished and replaced by a new building. The move-in of the furnishing discounter is planned for the first quarter of 2022.
