(Lauterach / Klagenfurt) – After about a month, the new digital customer portal from Gebrüder Weiss has surpassed the thousand mark: The corrugated cardboard factory TEWA GmbH in Carinthia is the 1,000th customer to integrate myGW into its processes. The myGW platform provides customers with real-time information about their goods flows – cross-departmentally for land transport, air and sea freight, as well as warehouse logistics.
Faster Order Processing Made Possible by myGW
TEWA Managing Director Franz Ronge is impressed: “The digital shipment transparency in real-time, the overview of delivery statistics, and especially the ease of use are advantages of myGW that have convinced us. Through simplified communication and direct access to all documents, we can achieve faster order processing.” The traditional company TEWA has been a customer of Gebrüder Weiss since 1993 and offers packaging solutions made of corrugated cardboard for its international customers from development to production. This includes beverage, food, transport, and gift packaging.
myGW Offers Easy and Anytime Accessible Customer Access
Since the completion of the pilot phase at the end of September, myGW has been available to all Gebrüder Weiss customers in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia. Gebrüder Weiss covers the services of all business areas with myGW. The logistics provider aims to offer its customers easy and anytime accessible access. Thus, all communication with the logistics service provider can be handled online. The rollout in other countries is already in planning. The first pilot projects have already started successfully there.
