With this one-time special payment, the logistics expert acknowledges the great commitment, outstanding performance, and immense flexibility of all employees in the challenging year 2020.
(Augsburg) SWAN GmbH rewards its employees for their extraordinary commitment in the soon-to-end Corona year with a Corona bonus. The amount of the bonus is based solely on the duration of employment in the past year. The payment will be made in November.
“Due to the global Corona pandemic, we had to react quickly and decisively in the spring. Suddenly, we were faced with the situation of having to carry out ongoing projects largely without on-site appointments with our customers and business partners, cancel trade fairs and events, and completely arrange ourselves in home office,” says Alexander Bernhard, Managing Director of SWAN GmbH.
SWAN Has So Far Navigated the Crisis Well
Despite the new and unfamiliar work situation, the company has navigated the crisis well so far. The self-responsible and flexible working style of all employees, the existing technological infrastructure of the SWAN work environment, the short communication and decision-making paths, as well as the decentralized location concept have significantly contributed to this.
Due to the enormous personal commitment and unwavering dedication within the team, SWAN is closing the financial year 2020 very successfully. The logistics expert acknowledges these outstanding performances of all employees with a one-time Corona bonus.
Bonus Payment at the End of November
The workforce will receive the financial thank-you with the salary payment in November. Due to a regulation in the Corona Tax Relief Act, the payment is tax and social security free. The amount of the bonus payment for SWAN employees is independent of the current salary level, the hours worked per week, the vacation entitlement, and the classification within the company. It is based solely on the duration of employment in 2020.
