(Haiterbach), Tatjana Messner and Moritz Käß, two trainees from Alfred Schuon GmbH, have been honored by the Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Baden-Württemberg e.V. (VSL) for their excellent final exams. During the annual general meeting, which this year took place as a hybrid event due to the circumstances, the association expressed its appreciation for the young talents. Tatjana Messner and Moritz Käß, who completed their exams this summer, continue to work for the Swabian logistics service provider.
“This award is a special recognition for both of them and for our successful training program,” says Heike Kreidler, training manager at Alfred Schuon GmbH. In mid-October, Messner and Käß were honored by the Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics Baden-Württemberg e.V. for their excellent final exams. “Our intensive support for young talent is a central pillar for the sustainable development of Schuon,” adds Kreidler.
Honor at the Virtual General Meeting of the VSL
The honor was awarded during the VSL’s annual general meeting, which also took place digitally this year due to the Corona pandemic. “Normally, the trainees attend the event together with our managing director Theo Schuon,” reports the training manager and adds: “This time we followed it in front of the TV.” The gift and their certificate were sent to the two awardees by post.
It is particularly pleasing that Tatjana Messner (billing) and Moritz Käß (fleet management) continue to work for the logistics service provider from Haiterbach. “The goal is to retain our trainees in the long term. The chances of being taken on are very good with us,” says Kreidler. Schuon is also looking for motivated young talents for the coming year. “Our training offerings are very diverse and include commercial as well as industrial and technical professions,” says the training manager. “Whether freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, professional driver, warehouse specialist, or application development specialist: the exciting industry has something to offer for everyone,” says Kreidler. This year, ten trainees have started a career at Schuon.
