1. December 2020DKV Mobility has contracted 16 LNG/CNG filling stations from Air Liquide in France. DKV customers can now take advantage of this service. Thus, there are now around 120 stations under contract with DKV in Europe. Both parties benefit from a larger offering.
(Ratingen) The mobility service provider DKV Mobility and Air Liquide have entered into a partnership in the field of natural gas. DKV customers now also have access to 16 LNG/CNG filling stations from Air Liquide in France.
With this, DKV’s LNG supply network grows to around 120 stations across Europe, forming the largest LNG supply network in the industry. The stations from Air Liquide are located along the French north-south motorway network, which is heavily frequented by international transport companies.
Switching to More Environmentally Friendly Fuels
“With this partnership, we encourage freight forwarders to switch to more environmentally friendly fuels and thus limit the environmental impact of their fuel consumption,” says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV. Thanks to its competitive cost structure, natural gas is at the center of the ecological transformation in road freight transport.
It is more environmentally friendly than conventional fuels and allows for a significant reduction in nitrogen and CO2 emissions. The cooperation with Air Liquide enables DKV to further expand its natural gas supply network. Air Liquide, in turn, can offer its LNG and CNG services to a broader customer base.
