6. December 2020Good news for the BGL. After successfully registering in the association register, PROFI can finally start concrete projects. The recognition as an association took longer than expected. The primary goal of the association is to increase the appreciation and working conditions of the driving personnel.
(Frankfurt/Main) The support association “PROFI – Pro Driver Image e.V.” under the patronage of Federal Minister of Transport Andreas Scheuer can begin implementing its projects. After the recognition as an association took longer than expected, PROFI is now registered with the registry court and thus “capable of action”.
Image of the Driving Profession and Logistics
The goals of the association are to increase the appreciation of the driving profession, improve working conditions for driving personnel, and generally enhance the image of logistics, as well as promote the training and qualification of professional drivers in freight and passenger transport. All companies and organizations, as well as drivers and other individuals close to the logistics industry, can become PROFI members.
The chairman of the association, Prof. Dr. Dirk Engelhardt (BGL): “PROFI has already received enormous positive feedback since its founding. In a very short time, we have received numerous membership inquiries from companies and private individuals who want to support us in achieving a change in the way drivers and the industry are treated. We can finally tackle this now!”
