(Schwaig) ITG continues to grow and opens a new location in Oberhausen. Due to strong growth at the Neuss location and various new customers, the company has decided to lease a modern logistics center with 30,000 m² from SEGRO in Oberhausen. The activities previously operated at the Neuss location will be transferred to the new site. Additionally, new customers have been acquired, including fashionette AG.
State-of-the-Art Logistics Property
The fulfillment service provider ITG GmbH Internationale Spedition & Logistik, specialized in fashion & lifestyle, is expanding further. The company, headquartered in Schwaig near Munich Airport, is leasing 30,000 m² of state-of-the-art logistics property in the SEGRO Logistics Park Oberhausen. On one hand, the growth of existing customers at the Neuss location has led ITG to look for a new property. Furthermore, several new customers have been acquired, who will be gradually moving in. The highly modern property in Oberhausen features excellent transport connections, including a direct exit from the A3.
Location Offers Good Opportunities
Moreover, the location offers very good opportunities for further growth, as there are still development areas available. In particular, the proximity to the hubs of leading parcel service providers is a crucial advantage for customers in the e-commerce sector, as it allows for late cut-off times. “We are very proud to take this step to continue our consistent growth. The Oberhausen location offers many advantages for our customers due to its location. On one hand, in inbound logistics from Asia due to ideal connections to the western ports, very good accessibility to the airports in Düsseldorf and Frankfurt, where ITG also has Air & Sea stations, as well as the immediate proximity to the rail terminal in Duisburg. On the other hand, in outbound logistics with short distances to parcel service providers,” says Patrick Lindig, Managing Director of ITG GmbH.
Multi-User Logistics Centers
At the Oberhausen location, ITG follows the proven approach of maximizing flexibility and thus achieving the highest synergies through large multi-user logistics centers. A very rapidly expanding company, fashionette AG, an online retailer specializing in designer handbags, shoes, and other fashion accessories, has been acquired as a new customer. In addition to the focus on e-commerce, the location will also offer ITG’s classic service portfolio in textile logistics, both for hanging and flat clothing. Furthermore, comprehensive value-added services related to textiles will continue to be provided. These range from textile preparation with state-of-the-art equipment such as tunnel finishers, tumblers, and ironing mannequins to work directly on the product, such as sewing, printing, and other personalizations.
