18. January 2021Gebrüder Weiss nominates Dominic Gaida as branch manager in Esslingen and Wernau. Esslingen is the largest land transport location of Gebrüder Weiss in southern Germany. With Gaida, GW aims to further develop land transport in southern Germany. The same applies to logistics and warehousing solutions.
(Esslingen) Dominic Gaida is the new branch manager at Gebrüder Weiss in Esslingen, Baden-Württemberg, since the beginning of the year. The 40-year-old succeeds Jochen Gonser, who will take over sales management for the economically strong Stuttgart metropolitan area at the same location. GW Esslingen is the largest branch in the southern German land transport network of Gebrüder Weiss and will continue its development under the leadership of Dominic Gaida.
“We have very good conditions at the location. Our goal for 2021 and the following years is to continue to grow through excellent services in land transport and especially in warehousing and logistics solutions,” says Dominic Gaida. He has been with Gebrüder Weiss since 2007 and has previously worked as the head of land transport in Esslingen.
Freight Forwarding in Esslingen, Warehouse Logistics in Wernau
Gebrüder Weiss employs around 230 staff at two locations in Esslingen and in nearby Wernau. From the headquarters in the district town, the company offers its clients a variety of freight forwarding tasks. The facility serves as a logistics hub to connect different regions through freight transport. The main focus of the branch in Wernau is on warehouse logistics. Here, 7,100 square meters of space are available for the customer needs of the economically strong Stuttgart region, which is heavily influenced by the automotive business.
Esslingen is one of the five land transport branches of Gebrüder Weiss in southern Germany. In addition to the largest location on the Neckar, Aldingen, Memmingen, Passau, and Nuremberg are part of the network of the renowned logistics provider.
