The Dutch logistics provider Wuunder Holding BV has established a subsidiary in Germany (Dortmund) named Wuunder Deutschland GmbH. With a uniquely comprehensive service offering, such as end-to-end solutions, the Dutch logistics provider Wuunder is expanding into the German market.

(Dortmund) New innovative service concepts like end-to-end solutions from the booking process to invoice control are the hallmark of Wuunder Deutschland GmbH, which was founded in 2020 as a subsidiary of the Dutch Wuunder Holding BV and is headquartered in Dortmund.

Comprehensive Freight and Logistics Solutions

Wuunder offers customers comprehensive freight and logistics solutions based on a highly modern transport management platform that connects shippers, recipients, webshops, and transport companies as partners and optimizes their processes. The type of shipment (for example, documents, packages, pallets, or sea containers) is just as irrelevant as the shipment volume (for example, individual orders from a webshop or hundreds of individual shipments from a large shipper). The main focus is on an intelligent, fast, and simple process chain. A major strength of Wuunder’s platform is the easy design of the shipping booking. The process starts via the Wuunder app and the browser or a plug-in. A web app is available for use on PC or Mac, and the app can also be found on Google Play or as a download option in the Apple Store. This gives the customer the freedom to choose the device used. Webshop plug-ins and API interfaces are additional elements that simplify and facilitate the various processes surrounding sending and receiving.

Booking via App and Pickup by Regional Partners

All shipments are picked up on demand by a regional transport partner at a time and place desired by the customer after booking via the Wuunder app. The transport progress can be tracked at any time from any mobile or fixed device via Track & Trace, and there is also the option to communicate with the recipient via chat. “All processes and services are optimized for maximum customer friendliness,” says Maurice Wulms, Managing Director of Wuunder Deutschland. “Our goal is to take as much work off each customer as they wish, ideally all processes related to sending their objects, including communication with partners and recipients.

Dortmund can be described as a logistics stronghold. Our location is in the Technology Center Dortmund, which guarantees us a perfect infrastructure, comprehensive services, and a high-tech environment. From here, the German market can be optimally served.” Wuunder Holding BV was founded in January 2016 by Bart Takkenkamp and Jeroen Gehlen and is headquartered in Weert, Netherlands. Since 2020, the subsidiary Wuunder Deutschland GmbH has been active at the Dortmund location under the management of Maurice Wulms. Wuunder’s transport network currently includes many renowned German and European parcel services and logistics providers.
