3. February 2021InterRail Holding, based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, announces that its subsidiary InterRail Kazakhstan LLP, headquartered in Almaty, has established another branch in Nur-Sultan. Previously, the company was represented there with a pure sales office and is now also operational.
(St. Gallen) InterRail Kazakhstan LLP, headquartered in Almaty and a subsidiary of InterRail Holding AG, Switzerland, has transformed its previous sales office in Nur-Sultan into an operational branch as of the end of January 2021. The office is managed by Bekzat Madiyarova, who has been working as a sales manager for InterRail Kazakhstan in Nur-Sultan since the end of 2018.
Containerized and Conventional Rail Freight
The company offers containerized as well as conventional rail freight services for import, export, and transit, and has a direct cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan Railways (KTZ). The rail services are complemented by multimodal solutions and the provision of appropriate rolling stock, including special wagons such as hopper wagons and open-top wagons for bulk goods.
For the InterRail Group, Kazakhstan has always been a key market due to its significance as a bridge between Europe and Asia. Therefore, the expansion of the local network is a logical consequence of the geographical strategy of the InterRail Group.
