11. February 2021At the beginning of the year, Dr. Beate Grudzus-Zager, Dr. Tilman Spaethe, and Johann Strobl were appointed to the management of Loxxess Pharma GmbH, strengthening the management alongside long-time Managing Director Helmut Müller-Neumayr.
(Neutraubling) The three new managing directors are no strangers: They have been steering the company’s success for many years, with all three recently serving as directors for different specialist areas. Distributing management responsibilities across additional shoulders will enhance sustainability and the knowledge base within the company while also creating room for growth and innovation.
“I am pleased to see the long-standing commitment of my colleagues confirmed by their appointment to the management board. I see this as an important step to meet the ongoing growth of our company and to broaden our expertise even further in the future,” explains Helmut Müller-Neumayr, who will now lead the expanded management as spokesperson.
Dr. Beate Grudzus-Zager
Dr. Beate Grudzus-Zager will take responsibility for the areas of GMP/manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. As an R&D manager, she has acquired expertise not only in the production of clinical samples but also in the development of pharmaceutical dossiers and product presentations.
After more than 20 years of experience in quality assurance in B2B logistics services and CMO services, Beate most recently managed the areas of quality assurance and contract manufacturing (GMP), including serialization at Loxxess Pharma. Her expertise will help further develop the areas of returns management and quality complaints.
Dr. Tilman Spaethe
Dr. Tilman Spaethe will be responsible for the areas of finance, HR, the service center (customer service, accounts receivable), as well as contract management, purchasing, and administration. Spaethe has many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. During his doctoral studies, he began to engage with the development of the industry structure in the pharmaceutical sector.
He has been active in the healthcare sector for 18 years, 16 of which he spent as finance manager at Loxxess Pharma, with a particular focus on finance, controlling, reporting, and calculation. He accompanied the company as the responsible finance manager during its strong revenue growth. Additionally, he built up the trading goods business and the B2B service area of accounts receivable and has been responsible for contract management for several years. As part of the management team, he contributed to the strategic direction of the company.
Johann Strobl
Johann Strobl will be responsible for the areas of operations, transport management, digital and IT services, infrastructure, as well as marketing & sales. Strobl has over 15 years of management experience in the B2B service environment with a strong focus on the healthcare sector.
He has built extensive expertise in supply chain strategy, digital services, transport management, project management, and sales, and knows how to apply this knowledge. In recent years, Strobl has contributed to the successful growth of Loxxess Pharma Services, significantly shaping valuable innovations, service concepts, and digitalization topics. In his new position, he will lead the operational business of the locations, while also focusing on developing individual solutions for European distribution approaches alongside customer relationships.
