8. March 2021Lufthansa Cargo has confirmed the appointment of Harald Gloy as Chief Operations Officer for another five years. Additionally, since March 1, Gloy has also taken on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director at the air freight airline. This contract extension ensures continuity.
(Frankfurt/Main) Harald Gloy has been appointed to the board of Lufthansa Cargo AG for another five years. The company’s supervisory board has unanimously extended his contract until December 31, 2026. In addition to his responsibilities for the Operations division, Gloy also took on the role of Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director as of March 1, 2021, thereby assuming responsibility for the areas of personnel and procurement within the company as part of a restructuring within the Cargo board.

“We are very pleased that we will have an excellent appointment for the Operations and Human Resources divisions at Lufthansa Cargo for another five years with Harald Gloy,” said Harry Hohmeister, member of the board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG and chairman of the supervisory board of Lufthansa Cargo AG. Gloy has been with the company since 1999 and was appointed Chief Operations Officer of Lufthansa Cargo AG on January 1, 2019. Prior to that, the 48-year-old industrial engineer held various management positions at Lufthansa Technik.
