9. March 2021The Board of Directors of Lamprecht Pharma Logistics AG (LPL) in Pratteln/Switzerland announces the appointment of Gian Carlo Alessi, previously Head of Cargo at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, as the new Managing Director. Alessi will assume his role on June 1, 2021.
(Basel/Pratteln) Gian Carlo Alessi is responsible for the overall management and development of all logistics activities at LPL. After his training as a freight forwarding merchant at Danzas/DHL, he held various positions in sales, customer service, and as Head of Switzerland at Air France and KLM Cargo. Most recently, Alessi served as Head of the Cargo Department at EuroAirport in Basel-Mulhouse since 2012.
Urs Suter remains with the company
The previous Managing Director of LPL, Urs Suter, who wishes to step down for personal reasons, will remain with the company as the future Key Account & Project Manager. Lamprecht Pharma Logistics AG is one of the leading companies in the field of pharmaceutical logistics in Switzerland and is a subsidiary of Lamprecht Transport AG in Basel. LPL specializes in pharmaceutical transport and operates a large GMP/GDP-compliant warehouse in Pratteln/Basel for all temperature ranges (storage & distribution).
