(Frankfurt/Main) KION GROUP AG, the global leader in (intra-) logistics equipment, continues its high-class management trainee program for university graduates with a master’s degree. The next cohort of the tailored training program in various fields will begin on October 1, 2021. The traineeships in the areas of Intralogistics Aftersales, Project Management, Research & Development, HR Management, and Mobile Automation comprise a versatile 18-month program with a strong international focus within the globally operating KION Group. Participants are expected not only to quickly take on responsibility in their own area of expertise but also to get to know the different facets and key interfaces of the multi-brand group.
At Various Locations
The trainee position for the area of Intralogistics Aftersales is based at the KION subsidiary Linde Material Handling in Aschaffenburg, Bavaria. The traineeship for Project Management, on the other hand, is set up at the group subsidiary Dematic, a global specialist in material flow with intelligent software, supply chain, and automation solutions in Heusenstamm, near Frankfurt/Main. Another position for Research & Development is located at the overarching internal function of the KION Chief Technology Officer, the CTO organization, in Hamburg. Additionally, there is a position in HR Management at KION GROUP AG in the Frankfurt headquarters. The traineeship in the overarching area of Mobile Automation, i.e., driverless transport systems, is also based at KION GROUP AG, with a location in Aschaffenburg. The traineeships are divided into four blocks of four to five months, with the third block including a five-month stay at a location abroad – provided the pandemic situation allows it. This way, graduates have the opportunity to get to know other international locations early on and broaden their horizons. At the beginning and halfway through the program, joint five-day workshops are organized, focusing on basic knowledge about the KION Group, methodological training, and networking.
Unleash Potential and Realize Ideas
“With our trainee program, we offer motivated and internationally oriented young leaders an attractive start to their professional lives,” says Anke Groth, CFO and Labor Director of the KION Group. “They have the best opportunities to unleash their potential and realize their own ideas with us – and at the same time, we gain young people with whom we want to continue our success story and shape the future of intralogistics.” In addition to exceptional career opportunities and varied activities in a dynamic future industry, trainees can also expect collegial teams and attractive remuneration. The application process consists of four stages – from submitting application documents to a phone interview, an online test, and an assessment center – and is conducted entirely in English.
