17. March 2021From September 22 to 24, the 15th Hamburg International Conference of Logistics (HICL) 2021 will take place at the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH). Under the main theme ‘New Opportunities in Logistics and Supply Chain Management’, interested representatives from logistics and supply chain management have the opportunity to exchange the latest developments and research results.
(Hamburg) The event will be accompanied by an optional workshop for doctoral candidates on September 21, offered in cooperation with Kühne Logistics University (KLU).
More than ever, the past year has highlighted the necessity for resilient and robust value chains. In the future, corporate practice must tackle this challenge together with science and seek new paths in logistics and supply chain management. One possible solution approach is, for example, the systematic collection, gathering, and analysis of data to predict potential disruptions and disturbances or to avoid supply shortages.
Presentation of new digital solutions
Through the intelligent use of new digital technologies, new solutions are emerging that will be presented and discussed at the three-day conference.
The English-speaking HICL conference is organized by the Institutes of Logistics and Management, Maritime Logistics, and Human Resource Management and Work Organization of the Faculty of Management Sciences and Technology at TU Hamburg. In 2021, the event will also take place entirely virtually. Loginfo24 supports HICL this year as a media partner.
Researchers can submit their unpublished contributions (Call for Abstracts) for review from now until April 18, 2021. Additionally, a reduced Early Bird ticket is available until May 18, 2021, inclusive.
