19. April 2021The House of Logistics and Mobility (HOLM) GmbH is offering several funding spots as part of its start-up support program this year. Interested founders and start-ups from the logistics and mobility sector can apply for the two-year program until July 4, 2021.
(Frankfurt/Main) “For the fifth time, we want to give young entrepreneurs from the industry the opportunity to advance their innovative products and services to market readiness with our support this year,” says Michael Kadow, Managing Director of HOLM GmbH. Selected start-ups will be provided with interactive office and networking spaces specifically designed for start-up support in the start-up lab of the HOLM building at the Gateway Garden location at Frankfurt Airport for two years. “In addition, further important components of our start-up accelerator include knowledge transfer and support for networking within the industry,” says Michael Kadow. Mentors from the HOLM network will be available for this purpose. Coaching programs and numerous networking events will also be regularly offered as part of the program.
Jury to Decide in September
In September 2021, a jury composed of experts from renowned industry players in logistics and mobility, as well as representatives from politics, will decide on the selection of the start-ups. The funding for the selected start-ups will begin with their move into HOLM at the beginning of 2022..Currently, seven start-ups are being supported as part of the program, including the recently awarded start-up Innocept, which addresses the issue of a lack of charging infrastructure for electric cars, recognized with the Science4Life Venture Cup. Alumni of the program include the Frankfurt “Start-up of the Year 2019” CargoSteps, the drone start-up Wingcopter, and the e-cargo bike sharing provider sigo.
