20. April 2021Video Campaign by ‘Die Wirtschaftsmacher’ Receives Great Support
20. April 2021On May 1, nox NachtExpress launches this year’s weekend service for the agricultural industry. With this special service, the express service provider has been supporting the system-relevant agriculture for over 30 years. Failures of expensive agricultural machinery during the harvest season are existentially threatening for individual agricultural businesses, which is why this service is so important.
(Langenfeld) With the start of the green fodder harvest in early May, nox NachtExpress begins this year’s weekend service for the agricultural industry. “Our drivers will be on the road for our agriculture customers starting May 1,” announces Eduard Siegle, industry expert in the agricultural sector at nox NachtExpress.
The goal of this special service is to provide farmers with urgently needed spare parts in a timely manner. The failure of harvesting machines worth up to 1 million euros can quickly become existentially threatening. Therefore, especially during the current Corona pandemic, which is economically affecting farmers as well, the reliable readiness of harvesting machines is crucial. This is exactly where the weekend service comes in, which leading agricultural technology manufacturers and agricultural technology specialists offer together with nox NachtExpress.
Maximum 12 hours until delivery
From the small screw to the engine block, all parts ordered from the manufacturer by early evening reach their recipients the following night – even if the spare parts are stored in neighboring European countries. “Between pickup and delivery, during this crucial time for the agricultural industry, it is mostly a maximum of 12 hours,” says Siegle.
The urgently awaited shipments are delivered seven nights a week before 8:00 AM, if necessary even before 7:00 AM or 6:00 AM – even on Sundays and public holidays. The delivery is contactless to pre-defined, locked drop-off locations or goods sluices.
Partner status with John Deere
Not only during the harvest season do agricultural technology manufacturers, agricultural technology specialists, and nox NachtExpress work hand in hand. Even during the remaining months, the NachtExpress specialist is on the road for the spare parts supply of combine harvesters, beet harvesters, or tractors. The quality of the services is so convincing that nox NachtExpress has been awarded partner status by John Deere after the first successful year of collaboration.
This status is granted to service providers who consistently exceed the performance standards of the agricultural technology manufacturer at the highest level. “For John Deere, we deliver Machine Down parts in Germany and Slovenia. In Germany alone, we serve over 6,000 recipients. Most parts are delivered to about 600 distribution partners, while the remaining shipments go directly to the farms of the farmers,” says Eduard Siegle.
