23. April 2021The new information and communication platform LogiMAT.digital of EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH has officially launched with an exciting one-hour talk session from the Munich studio. The session broadcasted on the platform was followed by interested parties from 14 countries via video stream.
(Munich) The engaging talk session was both content-wise and atmospherically like a professional conversation among friends at a regulars’ table. This summarizes the LogiMAT.digital launch, which was broadcasted on the new platform LogiMAT.digital. LogiMAT Stuttgart trade fair director Michael Ruchty invited two prominent experts from intralogistics to the in-house Munich studio. In a relaxed atmosphere, Professor Dr.-Ing. Johannes Fottner, Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow Logistics (fml) at TU Munich, and Professor Dr. Michael Henke, Chair of Corporate Logistics (LFO) at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, TU Dortmund, discussed topics such as individual experiences with digital lectures, the German-Chinese alumni network ALUROOT, risk management, and future value chains. Current events, such as the blockage in the Suez Canal, were also addressed.
Personal Contacts Are Basic Human Needs
According to the two studio guests, friendship, trust, authenticity, and strategic alliances are more in demand than ever. Personal contacts are one of the basic needs of humans. Trade fairs and congresses are primarily social meeting points, where personal encounters take precedence alongside professional exchange. Digital concepts are an important addition to keep a community alive and to spark anticipation for face-to-face conversations.
LogiMAT.digital is a matchmaking platform of top providers of first-class intralogistics solutions for qualified decision-makers worldwide. Registration is free for participants. It is available to everyone from April 2021 to March 2022 and will be regularly filled with expert talks, workshops, technical presentations, lecture series, and showcases during this time.
