Logivest Group Establishes Logivest Project Management GmbH

The Logivest Group is establishing a company with Logivest Project Management GmbH for project support and management from the planning phase to the operational phase for logistics properties. The new company is already tasked with innovative new construction projects, such as a logistics center for Hagebau. Carsten Felix will be the managing director of the new GmbH.

(Munich) The Logivest Group has founded a new subsidiary, Logivest Project Management GmbH. As external consultants, the logistics experts take over the management of new construction projects and support end users, project developers, and tenants from the planning phase through the construction phase to the successful completion of a project and the commissioning of the property. The new company is already engaged in innovative new construction projects, such as the logistics center of Hagebau in Walsrode.

For end users and developers opting for a built-to-suit solution, Logivest, through the Project Management GmbH, offers support in all aspects of project planning and implementation – from land acquisition to tendering and overseeing the general contractor to the handover of the turnkey facility.

Client Representation for Tenants

For tenants, there is the option of “Project Management Light,” which allows for client representation by the project management company. This option is particularly relevant within the existing new construction consulting activities of Logivest GmbH. Since Logivest acts as an independent consultant and does not carry out the respective project development itself, conflicts of interest are excluded from the outset.

“Logistics project developments are becoming increasingly complex, so we are more frequently involved in the planning and construction process. To meet this demand and provide our clients with a transparent service offering, we have now established the new project management company. Our approach: A logistics settlement is more than just a new property and must be viewed economically in a holistic manner,” says Kuno Neumeier, CEO of the Logivest Group, regarding the new establishment.

In addition to its own expertise, the project management company can also draw on the further specialists of the Logivest Group. For example, during the planning phase, the know-how of logistics and process consulting can be helpful, or the experienced perspective of the investment team when it comes to financial consulting.
 

Dipl.-Ing. Carsten Felix

As managing director of Logivest Project Management GmbH, Neumeier has secured the Head of New Development of Logivest, Dipl.-Ing. Carsten Felix. He will take on the position in addition to his responsibilities in new construction consulting. “The construction of a logistics property is a multifaceted process that can quickly overwhelm the users of a property. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to support here with our expertise and take a step further to lead the projects to a successful conclusion together with our clients and the developers,” says Carsten Felix. With a dedicated consulting team, Felix currently primarily supports clients from industry and trade throughout all construction phases until ongoing operations.
