June 2021In its position paper ‘Impulses for 2021+: What the High-Performance Parcel Industry of Tomorrow Needs’, the Federal Association of Parcel and Express Logistics (BIEK) has defined key points that consolidate wishes, suggestions, and solutions for current and upcoming challenges in the courier, express, and parcel industry (KEP).
(Berlin) ‘KEP companies make an indispensable contribution to the supply of the economy and society with their high-quality services,’ explains BIEK Chairman Marten Bosselmann. ‘The Corona pandemic has made it even more visible: Even in times of crisis, the fast, flexible, and reliable service of parcel services is always dependable. In order for the parcel industry to continue to harness its potential as an innovation, economic, and job engine for Germany in the future, politics must create the necessary framework conditions and enable fair competition among parcel services both nationally and internationally.
