(Haren/Rotterdam) With the newly founded subsidiary Deymann Tankrode Benelux Logistics BV in Rotterdam, the fleet will be expanded with additional ships for the transport of vegetable oils starting in June 2021. A competent team will offer customers scalable logistics concepts for spot, contract, and time-charter business.
The double-hulled fleet currently consists of 5 ships with heated cargo tanks and comprises ship sizes ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 tons of carrying capacity. Used cooking oil, mixed fatty acids, and lubricants can also be transported in the specially prepared inland vessels.
High Safety Standards
All ships are subject to the high safety precautions of Deymann Shipping Company to ensure consistent quality during loading, unloading, and transport. Quality standards such as HACCP and GMP+ ensure compliance with all goods handling and cleanliness regulations on board the ships.
In recent years, Martin Deymann has successfully expanded his business in the container, bulk, and minor oil sectors through strategic acquisitions of chartering companies and the purchase of ships. As a result, Deymann Shipping Company, with locations in Haren, Hamburg, and Rotterdam, is one of the larger owner-operated shipping companies in Germany.
Operating on All Waterways of Western Europe
The fleet of 40 ships operates on all waterways between the seaports of Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp, as well as along the entire Rhine route and in the European canal system. Just recently, Deymann launched Sweden’s first container shuttle service between Stockholm-Norvik and Västerås with its own ship.
