5. July 2021The Supply Chain Innovation Day 2021, organized by the Institute for Supply Chain Management ISCM-HSG at the University of St. Gallen, will be held as a live event on September 28, 2021. The event takes place at the Würth House in Rorschach, Switzerland, on Lake Constance. High-profile experts, many interactive formats, and a ‘Supply Chain Speed-Dating’ for start-ups await. (St. Gallen/Rorschach) After the Supply Chain Innovation Day could not take place last year due to the Corona pandemic, things are looking much better this year. The Swiss Federal Council has given the green light for larger events, so nothing stands in the way of the event on September 28, 2021, at the Würth House in Rorschach on Lake Constance.
Thematic Focus:
“Supply Chain Management in Challenging Times – Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement through Supply Chain Innovations” Julian Hess, a member of the organizing team and research associate & project manager at the Institute for Supply Chain Management, is pleased: “We are excited that we can hold the event again. It thrives on networking, which was also the reason we opted out of a virtual substitute event last year.”
Densely Packed and Interesting Program
The program is not yet final, but according to Hess, they are in the final stages and will publish the details in due time. In any case, an interesting program awaits the participants. High-profile experts from industry, research, and politics are expected. Many interactive formats complement the program, and not least, there will also be a ‘Supply Chain Speed-Dating’ where start-ups present their innovations in sessions of max. five minutes. An accompanying exhibition in the foyer is also part of the supporting program. The applicable Corona rules on the day of the event will, of course, be adhered to. Last but not least, and this is the irreplaceable advantage of live events, there should also be plenty of room for networking. The venue, the Würth House, located directly on Lake Constance, provides the ideal setting.
