12. July 2021The network of the European mobility service provider DKV Mobility is growing in Italy to over 10,000 active gas stations. This means that DKV Mobility covers around 50% of the entire distribution network in Italy and offers the largest independent fuel card network in the country. The strong growth is the result of an ambitious growth strategy.
(Ratingen) The strong growth is the result of an ambitious growth strategy that relies on partnerships with key national and local brands. These partnerships have led to a significant expansion of the gas station network in recent years. DKV Mobility places great importance on quality, comfort, and easy accessibility when selecting locations. Customers across Italy have access to gas stations in the network within a five-kilometer radius, making it the second largest network of the mobility service provider after Germany.
The Offer of Alternative Fuels is Also Growing
Currently, DKV Mobility’s supply network covers over 65,000 stations in 45 countries. With the increasing focus on the sustainable initiative “Lead in Green,” the offer of alternative fuels in the Italian network has also grown enormously. Currently, there are more than 18,000 charging points for e-mobility, 2,000 LPG stations, 600 CNG stations, and 60 LNG stations as part of the portfolio. “Italy is one of the key markets for DKV Mobility in Europe. Here, we are not only focusing on expanding our acceptance network but also want to provide our customers in Italy with a comprehensive offering of both conventional and alternative fuels. We aim to be a leader in driving the transition to an efficient and sustainable future of mobility,” says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services. Photo: © DKV
