2. August 2021The European mobility service provider DKV Mobility is now collaborating with the Essen-based company LIQVIS, a subsidiary of Uniper SE. LIQVIS offers LNG for the transport and logistics sector. As part of the new partnership, the company is replacing one of its previous payment methods.
(Ratingen) With the LIQVIS card, LIQVIS customers will not only have access to the in-house LNG network but also to the extensive supply network of DKV Mobility, thus gaining access to the largest brand-independent LNG network in Europe. As part of the new collaboration, the company is replacing one of its previous payment methods – the LIQVIS token – with a joint fuel card from LIQVIS and DKV Mobility. Currently, DKV Mobility provides access to more than 230 LNG stations in nine countries. DKV Mobility will manage and bill the joint fuel card.
Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services, says: “Through the partnership with LIQVIS, we have the opportunity to further advance the future of sustainable mobility. LIQVIS and DKV Mobility share similar goals, and this unique collaboration will help us achieve these goals. One promise we have made is to support our customers in reducing the CO2 intensity of their fleets by 30 percent by 2030 compared to 2019. This cooperation brings us a step closer to fulfilling that promise.”
Interest in LNG Fuel is Steadily Growing
Silvano Calcagno, Managing Director of LIQVIS GmbH: “Our success proves us right: Interest in LNG fuel is steadily growing, and we want to offer our customers – even outside the transit country of Germany – an expanded network of filling stations. DKV shares our vision of a sustainable future and is therefore the ideal mobility service provider for our LIQVIS card.”
“We are very pleased to have gained such a strong, internationally positioned partner in DKV, who enables our customers to access a growing infrastructure. We hope to attract more transport companies to switch to LNG fuel,” says Sebastian Gröblinghoff, Managing Director of LIQVIS GmbH.
