Schroeder Group’s Münster Location Managed with storelogix

The Schroeder Group and its associated company V.L.H. GmbH have set the course for growth. In August, the logistics company put its new warehouse with 5,000 storage spaces in Münster into operation using the flexible warehouse management system storelogix from common solutions. This significantly expands the logistics service provider’s capabilities in the warehousing sector.

(Bochum/Münster) At the beginning of the year, the Schroeder Group transitioned its warehousing processes in Isernhagen to storelogix. Now, the partnership has been expanded, and the new location in Münster has also been integrated with the professional warehouse management system. The process handling in warehouse management began there on August 16. “When we decided on storelogix, it quickly became clear that we wanted to launch with the flexible system in Münster as well. The WMS offers us the important flexibility and speed in onboarding new customers, in interfaces, and in process adjustments. Additionally, these capabilities allow us to continuously improve the status quo of our existing customers,” said Jan-André Pieper, Board of Management BU Supply Chain and BU Warehousing of the Schroeder Group and Managing Director of V.L.H. GmbH.

National and International Logistics Process Handling

Flexibility has already been demonstrated with the new integration of the warehouse. The location was connected remotely and in a very short time, allowing the Schroeder Group to seamlessly integrate the systems of new customers and start operations at the new site. From Münster, the Schroeder Group will increasingly deploy its fleet of over 80 trucks and express vehicles to handle national and international logistics for start-ups, medium-sized enterprises, and corporations. Holger Meinen, Managing Director of common solutions GmbH and the main responsible person for the WMS storelogix, is also pleased with the positive developments of the innovative company: “We are happy to expand our partnership with the Schroeder Group and contribute our part to the efficient and high-performance logistics services of the company with storelogix.”
