The centerpiece is a TV commercial paying homage to the cult film series. The spot takes place in Shanghai and features a DHL courier tasked with delivering an important package to James Bond. The film portrays DHL as an efficient and reliable partner.
(Bonn) Ahead of the premiere of the new James Bond film No Time to Die, leading logistics company DHL today launched a new campaign to celebrate its long-standing partnership and the essence of outstanding delivery services. The centerpiece of the campaign is a TV commercial as a tribute to the cult film series, for which DHL has provided logistics and transportation services for the fifth time.

Iconic Aston Martin Featured in the Spot
To create a commercial that is as captivating and action-packed as a Bond chase, selecting the right actors for the design, staging, and execution was crucial. The 007 stunt team, including coordinator Pete White, was on set. Bond’s iconic Aston Martin DB5 is driven by Ben Collins, who also appears as a stunt driver in the new Bond film “No Time to Die.” The award-winning director Adam Berg from Smuggler directed the spot, and Linus Sandgren, the chief cinematographer of No Time to Die, was responsible for filming it. The creative concept was developed by DHL’s lead agency 180 Amsterdam.
With the campaign, DHL focuses on storytelling aimed at creating a stronger emotional connection with the brand. The spot takes place in Shanghai and shows a DHL courier who is supposed to deliver an important package to James Bond. When he arrives at the agreed meeting point, the handover to Bond is thwarted, leading to a thrilling chase through the streets of Shanghai. While 007 is being chased through the streets, the courier manages to escape the chaos and deliver the package safely and efficiently to an updated delivery address.
Film Premieres on September 30 in the UK
“No Time to Die” is a film directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, featuring Daniel Craig in the lead role, who returns for his fifth and final film as Ian Fleming’s James Bond. The film will be released in the United Kingdom on September 30, 2021, by Universal Pictures International and in the USA on October 8, 2021, by Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM) through their company United Artists Releasing.
