With this, the company aims to position itself even better in the future to meet the changing logistics demands of its customers and to strengthen its leading position in the logistics industry. The new brand elements emphasize JCL’s focus on dynamic and sustainable solutions.
The logistics service provider JCL responds to the changing market demands in the industry and is giving itself new guidelines. These take the new circumstances into account. The new slogan, mission, and vision of JCL are as follows:
- Slogan: Moving your world forward
- Mission: We provide our customers with a decisive competitive advantage for their business through innovative logistics services and excellent service.
- Vision: We shape the logistics of the future by offering our customers excellent products through a combination of sustainability, efficiency, and digitalization.
The new slogan “Moving your world forward” emphasizes the element of movement as part of JCL’s DNA. The slogan signifies that the company aims to advance its customers’ business development with its extensive service portfolio – land transport, sea freight, air freight, contract logistics, and B2C. The new mission highlights JCL’s customer-oriented perspective and innovative solutions. The vision clarifies the logistics provider’s belief that a successful future is based on digital services, a stronger focus on the environment, and increased efficiency.
Part of a Company-wide Strategy
Svend Hartog, spokesperson for the board, explains that the decision to update JCL’s slogan, mission, and vision is part of a larger, company-wide strategy. The goal is to meet the demands of the logistics of the future: “Last year, we made important organizational changes to become more flexible as a company. This inspired us to also revise our brand presence.”
In 2020, JCL restructured its management with the aim of developing into a product-oriented company. Direct communication and quick response times are at the forefront. This year, the leadership team has already implemented several measures to prepare JCL for a successful future. For example, the board has developed a new strategy for environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
New Direction to Meet Changing Demands
Additionally, more environmentally friendly transport options for customers have been added, and a new internal digitalization strategy has recently been introduced.
“The logistics industry is undergoing rapid change, and JCL is proactively adapting to these changes,” explains Svend Hartog. “Our new slogan, our new mission, and our new vision clarify our commitment to meet the changing demands in logistics. We also want to empower our employees to face these challenges in a dynamic industry.”
