(Haiterbach/Würzburg) The Haiterbacher logistics service provider Alfred Schuon GmbH prevailed against more than 4,500 competitors at the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses 2021 and received the title of “Finalist” as one of five companies in the competition region of Baden-Württemberg.
“The Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses honors entrepreneurial achievements nationwide, not only based on business criteria but also in their complex role in society,” says Theo Schuon, Managing Director of Alfred Schuon GmbH. As the only logistics company, the Haiterbacher forwarding agency has made it to the finalists this year, who can be considered nearly on par with the award winners. “We are very proud to have come a step closer to one of the most sought-after business awards in Germany,” Schuon expressed his joy.
Schuon was particularly successful due to healthy growth and the Green Logistics strategy, under which the forwarding agency combines economic and ecological responsibility and develops climate-neutral logistics solutions. The family business also impressed in the area of personnel marketing with measures such as the 2plus2 training program, the Schuon Leadership Academy, or the company-owned Professional Training Center. “Schuon stands for intelligent goods transport,” said Dr. Helfried Schmidt, board member of the Oskar Patzelt Foundation and founder of the competition, in his laudation.
