Alfred Schuon GmbH Honored at the Grand Prix of Medium-Sized Businesses
23. September 2021The logistics company Gebrüder Weiss draws a positive balance one year after the launch of the digital customer portal myGW. Over 12,000 users are currently working with the online tool in 18 countries and have clearly confirmed its advantages in an internal satisfaction survey (Rating: 4.5 stars out of a possible five).
(Lauterach) The customer portal myGW from the Austrian logistics service provider Gebrüder Weiss has particularly highlighted the simple, fast, and transparent form of communication. All matters related to transport and logistics orders can be handled through a single account, available around the clock.
Wolfram Senger-Weiss, Chairman of the Executive Board of Gebrüder Weiss, sees the positive customer feedback as confirmation that the right step was taken at the right time: “The Corona pandemic has changed many aspects of the usual work environment. With myGW, we now give our customers the opportunity to verify the operational service quality at any time and take their own steps based on that. On the one hand, through flexible online access to all services of Gebrüder Weiss, whether in the office or at home; on the other hand, through new digital features, such as real-time information on goods delivery (ETA).” In the future, the focus will be on further developing the portal in a targeted and market-oriented manner to continuously improve the added value for customers, Senger-Weiss continued.
Top Performance Across the Board as a Goal
In September 2020, the logistics company launched myGW. Initially in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia. Other countries quickly followed, and the company-wide rollout is expected to be completed by the end of the year. Gebrüder Weiss describes the introduction of the customer portal as an important step within its digitalization strategy. This aims to connect operational and digital top performances and thereby maintain quality leadership in the logistics industry.
