October 2021In light of the ongoing company growth, Alfred Schuon GmbH, based in Haiterbach, Baden-Württemberg, is transferring more responsibility to fleet manager Frank Wohlgemuth, logistics manager Steffen Singer, and shipping manager Marc Bohnert. Retroactively effective from September 1, 2021, Wohlgemuth and Singer are being granted power of attorney.
(Haiterbach) “Leading a company is like playing in a team: success only comes when everyone pulls together. A crucial role is played by the management,” says Alexander Schuon, managing director of the Schuon Group. “Our key players have proven themselves excellently in the past and have met all expectations. We are now responding to this by expanding their respective areas of responsibility.”
Thus, fleet manager Frank Wohlgemuth and logistics manager Steffen Singer are being appointed as authorized signatories for the freight forwarding company specializing in jumbo transports, system traffic, and individual logistics concepts, retroactively effective from September 1. Wohlgemuth has been part of the Schuon team since 1995. The trained freight forwarding merchant has been responsible for the fleet and driving personnel of the logistics specialist since January 2016. In this position, he has significantly contributed to expanding the Schuon fleet to currently 330 dispatched units.
Singer is a trained logistics specialist (DLA) and has been employed by the transport service provider since 2010, where he is responsible for the entire logistics area. Under his leadership, the warehouse and logistics areas managed by Schuon have grown to over 80,000 square meters today.

Power of Attorney and Extension of Authority
Shipping manager Marc Bohnert is also receiving power of attorney retroactively effective from September 1. The freight forwarding merchant, who completed his training at Schuon, has held the position of shipping and sales manager since December 2017 and has significantly contributed to the company’s growth in recent years by developing existing customers and acquiring new ones.
The existing powers of attorney for Rolf Berkowitz, Commercial Manager, and Juan-Carlos Alemany, Head of Financial Accounting and Purchasing, will also be extended to the subsidiaries Alfred Schuon e-logistics24 GmbH and Alfred Schuon Contract Logistics GmbH as of the same date.
Prerequisite for Continuing Positive Development
By strengthening the management team, Schuon is now creating the prerequisite for continuing the positive development of recent years. The management aims to address important future topics such as the mobility transition and digitalization to respond to changes in the fast-paced logistics industry. Schuon: “We have now reached a size that makes the distribution of responsibility and capacities across multiple shoulders essential. I am very pleased that we have achieved this through an internal solution.”
