Georg Maurer Drives the Further Development of Alpensped
14. October 2021ONOMOTION GmbH, Daimler Truck, DB Schenker, Lufthansa Cargo, Lufthansa Innovation Hub, and time:matters offer Master’s graduates the opportunity to work on solutions for more sustainable, future-oriented actions in the logistics and mobility sector starting in April. The new program is titled “Green Mobility Trainee.”
(Berlin) It is the first trainee program where trainees gain insights into different companies and focuses on a sustainable industry.
During the two-year program, participants will work on four projects in various partner companies – from startups to internationally operating companies. They will dive deep into the latest sustainability trends and learn about the challenges in the mobility and logistics sectors. By collaborating with various companies within the transport chains, a wide range of topics emerges – from better networking to more efficient transport routes to projects on sustainable aviation fuels (Sustainable Aviation Fuel). This equips the trainees with the necessary tools to drive solutions for a sustainable transition towards a more environmentally friendly economy.
Lufthansa Innovation Hub Coordinates the Program
The idea for the program comes from Deutsche Lufthansa AG. The coordination and content design of the program is the responsibility of the Lufthansa Innovation Hub. The program offers many benefits for both the trainees and the participating companies. In addition to the individual challenges of the companies, trainees learn about different working methods, approaches to solutions, and corporate cultures. Furthermore, they have the great opportunity to contribute to the developments of a “greener mobility sector.”
Companies Select Trainees Together
For the first time, this program applies the idea of the shared economy to talent management. The companies jointly select the trainees and are responsible for shaping the program. They benefit from talents who develop an understanding of the entire mobility sector and various business models across companies and think in integrated solutions.
Partner Companies Stand by Their Responsibility
The partner companies emphasize their commitment to a future-oriented and more sustainable industry by participating in the program and stand by their responsibility to minimize the environmental impact of their business activities. Each company faces different challenges, but what unites them all is the task of developing solutions for sustainable, future-oriented actions. Collaboration, exchange, and learning from each other: This fundamental attitude is consistently implemented in this youth concept.
From Friday, October 15 to Monday, November 15, interested Master’s graduates can apply via the homepage www.greenmobilitytrainee.de.
The trainee program starts on April 1, 2022.
