Hengstler with Robust Encoders for Autonomous Transport Systems
1. November 2021For the first time this year, the storelogix Customer Circle took place. The customer event organized by the Bochum-based company common solutions allowed users to contribute more concretely and specifically to the further development of storelogix and to articulate their needs in warehouse management on October 27 and 28 at the Parkhotel Herne. Engaging presentations and workshops facilitated discussions on how storelogix brings benefits to all users and across customers, and how it can be improved in the future.
(Pressebox: Bochum/Herne) At the end of October, storelogix customers were invited to the Customer Circle. The event aimed to exchange ideas and discuss how the warehouse management system can be utilized more optimally and which challenges regarding future customer requirements in warehouse management need to be addressed. “We want to focus on open and targeted exchanges with our customers and their practical insights. For this, we have created the perfect format with the Customer Circle!” says Holger Meinen, Managing Director of common solutions GmbH and the main person responsible for storelogix.
The topics of the event were designed to be very diverse: evaluations in warehouse management, innovations in WMS processes, and optimization opportunities in logistics. In the keynote by Dewender Food Service, specific requirements in warehousing for the fulfillment and food sectors were highlighted, emphasizing why a flexible system like storelogix is of great importance. In addition to this varied program, there was also a focus on the interactive workshop on system extensions. Here, various aspects of warehousing were discussed, potentials identified, and in coordination with all participants, it was decided which software developments would provide added value in customer processes. For these focus topics, the Bochum company has allocated 500 person-days in software development, which customers actively shaped with their choices.
Event as a recurring format
The storelogix team aims to better adapt the warehouse management system to the needs of users through close exchanges and to enable direct communication during further developments. This concept has been positively received by customers. It is already clear that the event will become a fixed and recurring format in the future. Holger Meinen is excited: “We are pleased with the successful kickoff and look forward to the release planning for 2022 coordinated with our customers. That our customers have a direct influence on the further development of storelogix as a product is a complete novelty for many. Discussing improvements across customers and defining common goals is how product development works today!”.
