9. November 2021In the north of Braunschweig, Logivest has brokered a logistics property with approximately 3,600 square meters of storage, office, and sales space to Melle Gallhöfer Dach GmbH. The property is owned by Mileway. Melle Gallhöfer is expected to move into the new premises after renovation and individual conversion in January 2022.
(Munich/Braunschweig) The specialist dealer for roof and facade construction materials is on an expansion course and was looking for a suitable space for its now 49th branch. The property on the historic industrial site of Büssing AG offers both sufficient storage capacities and the possibility of a sales area on-site. The traditional location of the Lower Saxony automobile manufacturer impresses with generous open spaces and its own industrial charm. In addition, the connection is very good due to its proximity to the Braunschweig Nord motorway interchange.
“In recent years, interest in the logistics region of Braunschweig has clearly increased. Located between Hanover and Magdeburg, the Lower Saxony city offers not only good connections but also a strong infrastructure. This is now also reflected in the availability of space, which is continuously decreasing,” says Ralf Döring, Head of Industrial and Logistics (Letting) at Logivest Hannover.
Demand for well-located logistics properties is steadily increasing
Georg Starck, Mileway Country Director for Germany, Europe’s largest and leading owner of last-mile logistics properties, says: “It is fantastic to welcome Melle Gallhöfer as a client and to help them realize their growth plans. The demand for high-quality, well-located facilities is steadily increasing. Therefore, our focus is on supporting our clients in connecting with the companies and communities they serve.”
