15. November 2021The fully electric light truck FUSO eCanter from Daimler Truck has now surpassed the mark of 300 vehicles worldwide. Customers in sixteen countries and cities such as New York, Tokyo, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin, Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, and even Auckland rely on the reliable e-truck for urban distribution.
(Stuttgart/Tokyo) Another milestone for the global eCanter fleet: The total distance covered by the fully electric kilometers now exceeds four million kilometers – equivalent to about 100 circumnavigations of the Earth or just over five trips to the Moon and back.
The FUSO eCanter 7.49-ton truck has a range of more than 100 kilometers and is particularly suitable for locally emission-free and quiet urban distribution. As of November 2021, more than 40 vehicles have been delivered in the United States, approximately 75 e-trucks in Japan, and more than 190 FUSO eCanters in Europe. At the beginning of 2021, the fully electric light truck was also introduced in Australia and New Zealand, continuing the success story of the vehicle in two additional important FUSO markets.
