2. December 2021The current survey by the initiative “Die Wirtschaftsmacher” focuses on what business representatives and consumers expect in the new year. With regard to logistics and its supply function, it addresses the availability of goods, the state of international supply chains, and the shortage of skilled workers and trainees.
(Bremen) During the Corona pandemic, the system-relevant supply function of the logistics sector has become clearly evident to the general public. Despite border closures and various challenges in global goods transport, supply chains remain largely intact.
The ongoing pandemic and supply shortages in international procurement markets continue to challenge the global economy. Additionally, there is a growing shortage of skilled workers and trainees in various sectors such as industry, crafts, and logistics.
The short survey titled:
“What Will 2022 Be Like? – Expectations for Economy, Logistics, and Supply”
by the initiative “Die Wirtschaftsmacher” is directed at both business representatives and consumers. It inquires about the outlook for the state of international supply chains and the assessments of the shortage of skilled workers and trainees in 2022, particularly with regard to logistics and its supply function.
