Dec 6, 2021 at 8:38 PMThe logistics company DB Schenker announces the acquisition of two leading transport companies, namely Grupo Loserco (Andalusia) and Transportes Santos Campos (Valencia), in Spain. More than 150 employees will be integrated. The acquisitions are part of the strategy for global expansion and further growth of the company.
(Frankfurt/Madrid) DB Schenker, one of the world’s leading logistics service providers and market leader in European land transport, continues its growth trajectory in Europe. The German company announced today the acquisition of the entire share capital of Grupo Loserco and Transportes Santos Campos, two leading companies in land transport in Andalusia and Valencia, Spain.
With these two acquisitions, DB Schenker will integrate seven new centers with more than 150 employees who will continue to serve existing and new customers. The takeovers are another step towards expanding DB Schenker’s network and thus strengthening the company’s presence in the Iberian market.

Geographical Expansion
Cyrille Bonjean, Executive Vice President Land Transport at DB Schenker in Europe, adds: “The integration of these companies in Spain is the next step in a growth phase and geographical expansion, which we expect to be very successful and full of opportunities for DB Schenker and our team.”
Both acquisitions are part of the strategy for global expansion and continuous growth that DB Schenker has developed and continues to refine based on its strong business model.
2,100 Professionals on the Iberian Peninsula
With these purchases, DB Schenker will expand its workforce on the Iberian Peninsula to more than 2,100 professionals working directly and indirectly at 31 locations. In recent years, the company has expanded and optimized its business across Europe, aiming to accelerate the pace of growth to further solidify its leading position in the industry.
