(Köln/Neuss) RheinCargo also grants Lukas Klippel power of attorney. In addition, he will continue to lead the entire port sales for all RheinCargo port locations, including the Cologne ports Niehl I, Niehl II, and Godorf. Until now, the management of the Northern Port division was held in personal union by Jan Sönke Eckel, the managing director responsible for the ports at RheinCargo.
“I am very pleased that Lukas Klippel is taking on a leading role in the port sector,” explains Jan Sönke Eckel, “as sales manager, he has already gained extensive experience in port operations. Additionally, he has a comprehensive background from his previous work at the RheinCargo freight railway.”
Already during his studies at HGK
Lukas Klippel was already active during his dual studies for RheinCargo and the RC shareholder Ports and Freight Transport Cologne (HGK). After successfully completing his master’s degree, he initially managed key accounts in the sales department of the RC freight railway. In 2015, he moved to the port division, where he initially took on sales responsibility for the Cologne ports and later also for the northern port locations.
